“Without Charlotte’s help I wouldn’t be playing now. She really knows her stuff and is fantastic at getting it across!”

JAZZ PIANIST - MERCURY PRIZE WINNER - BBC JAZZ AWARD
It’s not uncommon for musicians to go through periods when they lose their way—with their technique, as performers. When this happens, there can be a huge crisis of confidence that can make even practising feel impossible.
“Will this mean I’m going to lose work, income? What will people say? Will I have to give up my career?”
It can be hard to practise, and terrifying to perform or rehearse, even with friends and colleagues you have known for years.
“What’s going on? How do I get out of this? Who can help me?”
Working together we can
Discover what the pain is telling you
Recognise the early warning signs and know how to respond to them
Understand the physical habits that are making things worse
Work through technical blocks by understanding what the body is actually doing
Address the thoughts and feelings that tighten the body and affect your playing
Move on from traumatic experiences as a musician
